Method in his madness

Article Abstract:

Actor Robert Carlyle has appeared in a wide range of television and film roles recently, and has gained considerable admiration for his acting abilities. He has a clear idea of the roles which will suit him best, and is not afraid to turn down roles, even in projects which are likely to be extremely successful. He has gained a reputation for taking his roles very seriously, but denies any tendency towards method acting.

Oh, to be in Themeland, now that Lego's here

Article Abstract:

There has been a very strong move towards themed entertainment centres in the UK over recent years. It seems that people's interests and conversation have become so uninteresting that they need some sort of outside distraction, as has been the case in the US for a long time already. They expect instant entertainment, and are not prepared to put in any work to develop their own entertainment experience.

A growing passion

Article Abstract:

Interest in unusual kitchen and bathroom items seems to be waning, and people are now turning their attention to the growing range of garden gadgets and implements. The main area of demand is at the upper end of the market, where prices can be very high. Sales of items including terracotta and stone pots and urns, barbecues, sculptures, topiary and orchids have been particularly strong.
