No soft soap, just home-made bakes and stacks of cakes

Article Abstract:

There has been rapid growth at Lush, which sells fresh and handmade cosmetics, body and bath items. The company now has seven outlets in the UK, and plans to open a further four shortly. It is also looking to establish an international presence. Consumers have been attracted by its commitment to hand-made, fresh produce, and also like the fact that packaging is kept to a minimum. Its directors are cautious about rapid expansion, as they have already had experience of business failure.

Making every day a Sunday

Article Abstract:

Religious organisations are starting to take a much more proactive approach to the UK's media. They are no longer willing to simply be allocated a short amount of time on Sundays, and are now seeking a much higher profile. Unofficial advertising agency Christians in Media (CIM) has already undertaken several advertising campaigns for the Churches Advertising Network, and churches are now looking to use radio and television more extensively too.
