Paul-Annik Weiller

Businessman Paul-Annick Weiller was born in France, but began his education at Buckley in New York, NY. He was subsequently educated in the UK and in France. He returned to the US in 1954, studying engineering for two years at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He undertook military service as a pilot in the French Air Force, and then managed a chain of petrol stations owned by his father in Germany. He developed business activities separate from those owned by his father, and also ran several charitable institutions.

Sir David Woodbine Parish
Article Abstract:
Builder, businessman and philanthropist David Woodbine Parish trained in textile and related engineering for two years. He became a director at Holliday and Greenwood in 1937, and Chmn and MD from 1953. He became Chmn of Bovis Ltd in 1959, and retired in 1966. He was a member of the Worshipful Company of Clothworkers, and was appointed to the Council of the City and Guilds of London Institute for the Advancement of Technical Education in 1954.
