From Russia, with disappointment

Article Abstract:

Russian students who are spending a year on an exchange programme at Thames Valley University in west London have expressed some reservations about their experiences. They have found that their needs are not being specifically addressed, with the teaching not always helping them to improve their English. These comments should be taken into account by other universities hoping to establish links and exchanges with Russian partners.

A small price to pay for your sanity

Article Abstract:

Adult mail order clothing company Boden, created by designer Kate Barton, is now to begin supplying children's clothes too, in response to great demand from customers. These will be sold under the 'Mini Boden' label, and will priced to compete with clothes from high street stores. There are only around 250 mail-order specialists in the UK at present, so there is considerable potential for the market to expand further.
