'Saddest thing is, Andrew can't play tennis.'

Article Abstract:

Andrew Pitchford, who became a quadraplegic following an accident in Sydney, Australia, feels that he is very lucky because has received a lot of support from his friends and family. He greatly appreciates what they have done for him and the assistance he has received from the charity Back-Up. His mother Judy recognizes that his friends have been extremely important to him. She feels that the saddest thing for him is that he can no longer play tennis.

Time to stop and feel the flowers

Article Abstract:

Gardens and gardening activities can bring significant benefits for disabled children. For such children, gardens can be a place of safety and peace, as well as offering stimulus. With careful planning, a garden can be made suitable for children with almost any type of disability. Children can enjoy the different plants and their smells, as well as becoming involved in actually caring for the garden.

Visitors to the Place of the Vultures, a remote valley in the Andean foothills in Argentina, will be able to see many condors. Elsewhere in South America, the condor's existence is under threat, and little is known about this bird.
