Something old, something new: where to get the photographer, the bouquet and the CD-Rom

Article Abstract:

There are many services available for people who wish to organise their wedding in a traditional way. Marks and Spencer, for example, runs a bridal registry, and wine merchants are prepared to supply many types of drinks. However, it is also possible to take a less traditional approach, often saving considerable sums of money. Flowers can be purchased from a flower market, while disposable cameras can be used to allow friends to take photographs, rather than hiring a professional photographer.

Where is everybody?

Article Abstract:

There is a train which leaves Waterloo station, London, every day at 10.45am and calls at Bristol, Bath and Cardiff. However, British Rail seems extremely reluctant to publicise this service, and the train often runs with no passengers at all. Customer information staff always tell potential passengers to Bristol to use Paddington station, and any passengers on the train from Waterloo have generally only discovered by chance that the service exists.

What the best-dressed walls are wearing this season

Article Abstract:

It has become increasingly common for clothes retailers in the UK to launch paint ranges. In this way, they are seeking to present an entire lifestyle, rather than just individual items. There has also been a trend towards heritage as an element in paint marketing. The National Trust, for example, now has Farrow & Ball's paint range, while Dulux has the Heritage Collection. This is made up of around 160 colours organized into three palettes.
