Sonny, you should have been Jewish, you'd have had more sense

Article Abstract:

Jews tend to have little interest in putting their lives at risk in the name of fun. They are generally very cautious, and cannot really understand why non-Jews want to be involved in dangerous sports such as heli-skiing or mountain boarding. In contrast, Catholics have a firm belief in their entitlement to the afterlife, and therefore seem more willing to put themselves in danger. This is reflected in the recent deaths in skiing accidents of Sonny Bono and Michael Kennedy, both Catholics.
