UK Chancellor Gordon Brown will never achieve his ambition of becoming Prime Minister, as it will soon be unacceptable for a Scottish MP to head a British party. It would not be possible for a Scottish Prime Minister to legislate on issues for which he has no responsibility in his own country.

Cases of corruption within the Scottish Labour party are discussed. It is argued that party members found to be involved in corruption show no shame and are unwilling to resign or accept responsibility.
