The Church divided

Article Abstract:

The UK's Gay and Lesbian Christian Movement is to mark its 20th anniversary with events including a service of celebration at Southwark Cathedral. This has gained support from some leading members of the Church of England, as well as from representatives of the Anglican church around the world. However, it has also attracted considerable controversy, with traditionalists expressing strong opposition. This issue has created a deep split within the Church of England.

Fanfare for the little touches that add finesse

Article Abstract:

The word processing package Ami Pro version 3 allows writing, drawing and calculations as if the operator were using paper. It produces complicated layouts quite simply. The screen does not show a menu or title. The user can add details required by pressing on 'smarticons' with the mouse button. Few 'Windows' programs use the mouse so much. The mail merging facility is excellent.
