Trimmings manufacturer Houles-USA is the US branch of the European Houles et Cie. It will be marketing its latest line of fabrics featuring print designs made by VP and creative director Suzanne Houles. The 'L'Herbier' series sports floral and botanical prints which can be accented by Houles' collection of trimmings. Meanwhile, the company is also planing to produce sample books that will allow designers to select colors of trimmings which they can then order from the company's offices at the Pacific Design Center.

The Earl of Jersey
Article Abstract:
The ninth Earl of Jersey, George Francis Child Villiers, was a landowner and inherited Osterly Park, an historic building which he donated to the British National Trust in 1949. Osterly was a 16th century house which Lord Jersey's grandmother had loved. He opened the house to the public from 1939 and expressed pleasure that it was visited by a great number of people. He also donated a number of gifts to Osterly of furniture, porcelain and miniatures, and provided encouragement to the National Trust.

Women who color their hair at home can get salon-quality results. Three days before coloring, the hair should be deep-conditioned. If the hair is less than 20% gray, a semi-permanent hair color should be used, so that the gray roots will not become obvious. Additional coloring advice is provided.
