Article Abstract:

The UK Conservative party is now being led from the right again, according to former Chancellor Kenneth Clarke. He regards the government headed by Prime Minister Tony Blair as very shallow and lightweight, and feels that there is a good chance that this government will be replaced at the next election. He believes that the Conservative party must present a credible and attractive image to ordinary people if it is to be re-elected in 2002.
