'They took me to a park, laid me across a bench and broke my arms.'

Article Abstract:

The Law Lords have incorrectly interpreted the European Convention on Human Rights by ruling that only crimes attributed to former Chilean dictator General Augusto Pinochet after Sep 1988, when the UK signed the International Convention on Torture, will be considered as part of Spain's request to extradite Pinochet, according to Marcela Pradenas, who was tortured and sexually abused in Chile in 1985. She feels that her torturers, who targeted her because of her work with Catholic human rights groups, wanted to use her as a warning to others.

Churchill bribed Franco's men to stay out of war

Article Abstract:

A newly published book by historian David Stafford, an expert on the UK's wartime intelligence operations, indicates that the UK government under Winston Churchill made payments totalling $13 million to a group of Spanish generals in return for Spain not becoming involved in the second world war. The money was laundered in New York, NY, and distributed to Spanish generals by Francoist millionaire banker Juan March.
