'This is our true opportunity for a new beginning.'

Article Abstract:

It is vital to bring a permanent end to conflict in Northern Ireland, according to the declaration on Northern Ireland delivered by UK Prime Minister Tony Blair and Irish Taoiseach Bertie Ahern. Significant progress has already been made towards converting the Good Friday Agreement into reality, although there is still a lot more to be done. All parties agree that decommissioning is an obligation deriving from their commitment in the Agreement. Decommissioning should take place through the Independent International Commission on Decommissioning.

The secret conspiracy to destroy peace in Ireland

Article Abstract:

It will only be possible to create lasting, genuine peace in Northern Ireland if a thorough investigation is made of all the atrocities committed over recent years, regardless of who was responsible for them. Within this framework, it would also be possible to make a definitive judgement about Robert Nairac, who is believed by some to have led a group of loyalist paramilitaries into Ireland in Feb 1975 to assassinate leading IRA figure John Francis Green.
