'Till the last drop of our blood.' (attitudes of Armenian refugees in Stepanakert)

Article Abstract:

Karabakh has been declared a state of emergency, keeping survivors hostages to gain Western support. 2,000 distressed Armenian refugees, forced from their homes by the Azeri, arrived in Stepanakert after a long walk and had no food. The Armenian militia forced about 40,000 Armenian men to defend their country even if they wished to leave. The refugees, who are Christians, expect the West to help, but it is suspected that Armenians caused much of their own suffering.

Jerusalem draws in the Turks to spy on Arab forces

Article Abstract:

There are indications of extensive military cooperation between Turkey and Israel. Israel is upgrading Turkey's Phantom jets, while Turkey has given Israel permission to fly its jets through Turkish airspace to attack Iraq if Israel is targeted by Iraqi missiles. The two countries are also operating joint listening posts on the Iraqi, Syrian and Iranian borders, exchanging information about Syrian and Iraqi military activities and about the Kurdish Workers' Party.
