Time to climb down the property ladder

Article Abstract:

It is becoming increasingly common in the UK for people to decide to move from a large house to a smaller one as their lifestyle changes. Some people find that a smaller house is more suitable for their needs when their children leave home, and moving to a smaller house also raises funds for other purposes, such as purchasing a property abroad. Others may decide to move to a less fashionable area, where they can obtain a larger property. This is particularly suitable for people who work from home.
