UK: BRITISH AIRWAYS ATTACKED OVER TICKETING FEES

Article Abstract:

The introduction of new charges on its full-fare passenger tickets has brought criticism for British Airways (BA) from its rivals, including Virgin Atlantic. BA will now charge GB[pound] 10 to change a flight time once the ticket has already been issued, and GB[pound] 25 to change an itinerary, to refund a ticket or pick up a pre-paid ticket. However, BA says the charges are necessary to cover the cost of these services, and that little adverse reaction was reported by customers during trials.

UK: BA WANTS TO FLY CONCORDE AGAIN

Article Abstract:

Even if Air France decided to ground its fleet of Concorde planes for good, British Airways (BA)wants to fly the plane again. This would be possible so long as UK authorities are convinced the aircraft is safe. BA Concordes were developed and maintained to a higher standard than the French Concorde. The UK Air Accident Investigation Bureau has also criticised the length of time it is taking the French to conduct a judicial inquiry.
