Vivienne Westwood is 56, but don't let that worry you

Article Abstract:

There are many older women in the UK who have considerable amounts of money to spend on clothing. They tend to choose classical, wearable clothes, but are also prepared to be adventurous sometimes. They gain their inspiration from older women such as Tina Turner and Anita Pallenberg, who have developed their own personal image as they have progressed beyond middle age. Fashion designers are becoming increasingly aware that older women have considerable purchasing power.
