Who is Tony Buckingham? And why does everyone want to talk to him?

Article Abstract:

Allegations that the UK was involved in supplying weapons to be used to overthrow the military regime in Sierra Leone are closely linked with Tony Buckingham. He and his companies have since the late 1980s been connected with a series of mercenary military operations undertaken on behalf of governments in power or exile and multinational companies. Executive Outcomes, a company he owns, is closely linked with Sandline International, which is claimed to have supplied mercenaries to Sierra Leone.

'Rochdale, the last place for US-style shooting.'

Article Abstract:

Five people were shot in Rochdale, England, by the front-seat passenger in a car being pursued by police officers. The officers had sought to question the occupants of a car at Rivington Services on the M6 near Lancaster, England, but they drove off at high speed. They then hijacked a BMW in Horwich, England, and drove through Rochdale, with the front-seat passenger firing indiscriminately at bystanders. The men were eventually overpowered by armed officers.
