Worth a laugh

Article Abstract:

The Mayor Gallery in London, England, is currently staging an exhibition of the works of French artist Arman entitled 'Accumulation in Relation.' Arman classifies himself as a neo-realist, but his work in fact has many links with that of pop artists such as Marcel Duchamp. He presents the viewer with familiar objects in unfamiliar arrangements, and aims in this way to attract attention to the individual and strong presences of these objects. He is now almost 70 years old, but is still very enthusiastic about his work.

Milking them for all they're worth

Article Abstract:

There are now a considerable number of small flocks of genetically engineered pigs, goats, cows, sheep and rabbits around the world which are being use to produce human proteins for the treatment of hereditary diseases such as cystic fibrosis. This approach allows the production on a large scale of proteins which are very hard to produce in viable quantities in any other way. These genetically engineered animals could prove extremely valuable for the companies which raise them.

Don't get mad - get what you're worth

Article Abstract:

It is important to negotiate a beneficial severance deal when it becomes clear that your employer wishes you to leave. Best use must be made of planning and negotiating skills, and a relatively aggressive approach must be adopted. However, it is also important to be realistic, accepting that the employment will come to an end regardless of the deal agreed. It is worth seeking professional legal advice and checking for any useful precedents.
