You have never had it so good

Article Abstract:

Developments in the business travel sector at present are reflecting the economic buoyancy which is emerging in the western world. This is why prices are rising, with the American Express index of air fares indicating a sharp rise in the cost of business class flights in the third quarter of 1996. However, operators are also keenly aware of the need to offer value-for-money. Services such as hot showers in arrivals lounges have been available for long-distance business travellers for some time, and attention is now turning towards offering additional services on short-haul routes.

'I have seen the future of fun. And it works. Sort of.' (Segaworld opens at the London Trocadero)

Article Abstract:

Segaworld, a new attraction which has opened at the London Trocadero, uses latest technology and is the only virtual reality theme park in the centre of a European capital. The visitor's senses are stretched to the limit with overwhelming light and sound, and the R360 ride in particular causes the visitor to lose touch with reality. However, some of the other rides are rather disappointing, and the attraction does not really offer very good value for money.

Span of Green Gables

Article Abstract:

The 400 million pounds sterling Confederation Bridge will connect Prince Edward Island, Canada's smallest province, with New Brunswick. Prince Edward Island is an extremely colourful place and has many different attractions. New Brunswick is a simple, gentle place which is the only completely monolingual Canadian province. Its place names indicate that French and British settlers were able to live in peaceful co-existence.
