A computer simulation model for emerging technology business planning and forecasting

Article Abstract:

A computer simulation model for emerging technology business planning and forecasting is presented. The model is intended to help technical professionals to develop strategies for emerging technologies in emerging markets. Also, the model is designed to offer a realistic simulation of this process for professional development and university courses in business and management of technology (MOT). By combining major concepts from finance, market and competitive analysis, and MOT, the model assists the user through a series of assumptions and decisions for a ten-year financial plan.
