A constitutive description of aluminium-1% magnesium alloy deformed under hot-working conditions

Article Abstract:

A rational basis is used to devise a constitutive description of the deformation of commercial aluminium-1 percent magnesium alloy (AA5005) under hot working conditions. The initial work-hardening rate of the alloy is strongly dependent both on temperature and strain rate.
