A farewell to keywords

Article Abstract:

The proliferation of Web-enabled camera phones and PDAs, which has opened opportunities for search technology to elicit new ways of using images to track down information on the Web, is discussed. The members of Microsoft Research team have demonstrated a system that could take a query photograph captured from a cell phone camera and then send it to a server that matches it with already captured of training images each of which provides a link to the relevant Web site.

Article Abstract:

The ascending temperature graph, the repercussions of melting glaciers, disruptions in gulf stream, record heat waves, floods, pestilence, hurricanes, draughts, and the major wild fires, all point towards global warming. The earth requires green house gases, including water vapor, carbon dioxide, methane, to prevent some of the heat received solar radiation from escaping back into space, thus keeping the planet hospitable.

Better than a dog

Article Abstract:

Canines are the top dogs at detecting hidden explosives, however, sensor makers are hoping eventually to do better than these dogs. Latest types of explosive detectors are discussed that gives an ability to issue an alert from 30 to 50 feet away for a suicide bomber and from 500 to 1,000 feet for a car or a truck bomb.
