Controlling the pain of cancer

Physicians can motivate cancer patients to continue treatment and increase their desire to live by providing pain relief. Fears about possible psychological addiction to drugs and poor physician-patient communication have kept some doctors from providing analgesic drug therapy.

Gene therapy for cancer

Article Abstract:

Cancer treatment research is turning to gene therapy for more answers. Gene therapy has been used in the 'immunotheraphy' or vaccine therapy tactic for cancer treatment since it mobilizes the immune system to recognize cancer cells and destroy them.
