Article Abstract:

A group of researchers at the Los Alamos National Laboratory has tried to use plutonium to film a burning explosive and to find out if a warhead booms or fizzles. The trial is also expected to discover a new therapeutic way of delivering radiation more accurately to tumors with less effect on tissues.

The price of silence

Article Abstract:

The free flow of information in science has been stopped because of the requirement of secrecy embedded in contracts between corporate financiers and scientists for scientific endeavors. The existence of patent regulations has contributed to this situation.
