Breaking the mold

Article Abstract:

The impact of women working outside the home on their young children's psychology and the link between employment of mothers and criminal activity perpetrated by their offspring are examined. Most studies of working motherhood have found that the middle-class people find their work rewarding, as it boosts their self-esteem and self-reliance, reduces depression, provides opportunities to meet new people and allows them to buy things for their children.
