Broward getting the most from its wastewater

Article Abstract:

The North Regional Wastewater Treatment Plant in Broward County, FL has expanded its facilities to be able to meet the area's water requirements. The plant currently treats and disposes 80 mgd and retains 10 mgd of wastewater. The reclaimed wastewater is reused for irrigation, industrial and waste disposal purposes. The plant expansion starts off Broward's master plan which aims to develop wastewater reclamation and sludge management and increase the plant's output by the 21st century.

Getting into the act: Successful presentations can be the key to securing contracts

Article Abstract:

A formal presentation should be treated like a performance, with an awareness of presentation style and attention to choosing, crafting and honing material. The first stage is to know your audience and possibly adapt the presentation to their interests and concerns. It is important also to convey your enthusiasm and to inspire rather than inform.
