Casting their 'net

Article Abstract:

The foray of civil engineering firms into Internet marketing has produced different results. Boge & Boge which started its Web site in 1997, has all but generated one contract. However, the contract price covered costs incurred by the firm in maintaining the site and other Web-based marketing expenses. Mendocino, CA-based, Architects & Engineers Associated and McCroskey & Associates Structural Engineers reported the same experience. However, Dimondale, MI-based, Engineering and Environmental Services Group Inc's Web site has failed to entice clients for the firm.
