Panel wants to break R&D barrier

The US Institute of Medicine (IOM) panel's recommendations to encourage contraceptive research include a strong products liability law that would protect contraceptive manufacturers. The panel also recommends that insurance companies cover contraception to increase access and demand.

"Amplifying" the find details of molecular structure is a gas

Article Abstract:

Researchers have learned how to use xenon gas to amplify the resonance signals of hydrogen gas. The method could increase the effectiveness of nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy in determining the structure of not only hydrogen but of other molecules such as proteins.
