Committed to training

Article Abstract:

The Training and Employment Agency of Northern Ireland has launched a new Company Development Programme, and has committed 42 million pounds sterling to 120 companies already. The programme aims to assist companies in structuring their training and development programmes to meet business objectives, offering both practical and financial support. The T&EA's Training Centre network provides training places in engineering, construction and road transport for 3000 apprentices/year.

A photogenic life

Article Abstract:

The photography museum housed in the George Eastman House includes 600,000 photographs and negatives, 12,000 motion pictures and more than 20,000 cameras and other pieces of photography equipment. The 35,000-square-foot mansion has 50 rooms.

Aboriginal art

The origins and nature of Aboriginal art are described. Many paintings represent the Dreaming, the Aborigines' mythological story of Australia's creation. Since the 1990s these works have become recognised and valuable pieces of art.
