Crocodiles of Cuba

Article Abstract:

The project aims to improve the future prospects of American crocodiles by determining the nesting ecology, population biology, and behavior of crocodiles to guide management decision. Roberto Soberon, Manuel Alonso, Dr. John Thorbjarnarson and his project team will capture juvenile and subadult crocodiles for population data and extract their stomach contents for information on feeding ecology.

Koala ecology

Article Abstract:

The project investigates the ecology of a healthy koala population to improve conservation. Drs. Alistair Melzer, William Ellis and his project team are conducting a detailed study of koala ecology to include koala demographics, distribution, genetic diversity, health, and habitat use, and analysis of the plant community.
