Crossbar nanocomputers

Article Abstract:

A future generation of microchips might not need transistors but would instead use crisscrossing wires only a few atoms thick. Crossbars offers several benefits which are the regular pattern of crisscrossing nanowires makes manufacturing relatively straightforward, especially compared with the complex structures of microprocessors and its arraylike composition provides clear ways to instill defect tolerance in circuits.
