Environmental maintenance firm, Environmental Elements Corp., brings to market a new technology called Amonia on Demand, removes oxides of nitrogen smoke generated from coal-fired power plants. The technology was developed by Hear L.L.C., based in Orange County, California and Milan, Italy's Siirtec Nigi S.p.A.

Driving desulfurization technology development

Article Abstract:

The announcement in December 1999 of the EPA's strict new sulfer standard has forced large oil companies to increase their efforts to design innovative ways to separate sulfer from gasoline. Industry experts say new technologies presently under development will need to reach the marketplace before the smaller oil companies can hope to meet the year 2004 deadline.

A technology that fabricates clean air from oxygen

Article Abstract:

A scientist from Emory University developed a method to remove indoor air-borne pollutants using polyoxometalate catalysts which can be applied on fabrics.
