Development of a Chemical Fate Model for Trickling Filters Based on the Activated Sludge Model for SimpleTreat

Article Abstract:

This study examines the efficacy of a new chemical used in trickling filter wastewater treatment plants. The study concludes that, for the removal of surfactant LAS, more research is needed to understand the effect of high influent concentrations on the biodegradation rate.

Analytical studies on the oxidative degradation of the reactive textile dye Uniblue A

Article Abstract:

This study tried to identify some of the major early degradation products of Uniblue A when reacted with peroxydisulfate using a product analysis approach. The study is broken down into an introduction, a discussion of the experiment and its results. Various tables and graphs accompany the article.
