Article Abstract:

Training managers should realize that the goal of employee training programs is to enhance their effectiveness in performing their functions. Training programs must have measurable results. Most organizations often forget that the ultimate objective of training is to improve effectiveness. Instead, they tend to focus on the learning needs of the employees. An effective training program must be part of a closed-loop of activities in which an area for improvement is identified as objective for training.

Designing the future: The Royal College of Art is a spawning ground for the next generation of car designers

Article Abstract:

The Royal College of Art's (RCA) postgraduate vehicle design course concentrates on the visual and tactile aspects of car design, with the aim of producing new practising car designers. It is estimated that 98% of the 300 graduate students are now involved in vehicle design. Students usually pursue an individual project and design work is undertaken using modern CAD technology.
