First of its kind

Article Abstract:

Replacement of the Pearl Harbor Memorial Bridge, in New Haven, Connecticut with a cable-stayed bridge is discussed. The replacement structure is an extradosed prestressed bridge, which is an innovative bridge design and is a first in the United States. The cable-stayed bridge will have short towers and a deep deck with simple, clean lines so as to preserve its war memorial features.

The Cincinnati Contemporary Art Center is unique for its structural animation and innovation. The abstract sculptural concrete and steel structure encompasses 87,500 suare feet of galleries, connecting ramps, atrium, numerous cantilevered elements, and a lobby. It also houses the Lois and Richard Rosenthal Center for Contemporary Art, museum, and travelling exhibits.

Article Abstract:

The National Constitution Center, established in 1988 and situated in Philadelphia was initially a nonprofit organization to help Americans understand the importance of the constitution. But after 12 years, this center has become a national museum and an educational center and is owned by the National Park Service.
