Article Abstract:

Expectations that the federal budget will be cut places the work done by the Bureau of Economic Analysis and Bureau of Labor Statistics in jeopardy. Cuts could eliminate the compilation and analysis of relevant economic statistics necessary for government policy.

How the blind draw

Studies show that blind and sighted people share some form of pictorial shorthand. This indicates a close relationship between vision and touch and leads to changes in the understanding of sensory perception.
