Article Abstract:

New Airside Center at the Zurich Airport, in Switzerland is an architectural showpiece that serves as a focal point for passengers arriving and departing by rail and air where the center's expansive glass facade and elegantly curved roof counterpoint the complexity of the underlying structural engineering. The Airside Center serves all of the airports approach routes and directly connects two multistory parking garages and a redesigned bus terminal.

Linking past and future

Article Abstract:

Egnatia Odos is the 680 kilometers long superhighway which links Igoumenitsa in Greece and proceeds to the Turkish border which is being built to improve social and economic links with member countries. The project includes more than 600 bridges, 77 tunnels and extensive efforts to preserve environmental and archaeological treasures.
