The myth of the beginning of time

Article Abstract:

String theory suggests that the big bang was not the origin of the universe but it was simply an outcome of a preexisting state. The symmetries of this theory state that time did not have a beginning and would not have an end and that the universe could have begun almost empty and built up to the bang.
