Heterogeneous photoreaction of tetrachloroethene-air mixture on halloysite particles

Researchers from the National Institute for Resources and Environment, Japan, estimated the heterogeneous photodegradation rate of tetrachloroethene in air mixture on clay particles (halloysite) using diffuse reflectance UV-vis spectra photoillumination.

CI atom-initiated oxidation of three homologous methyl perflouroalkyl ethers

Chlorine atoms are used to initiate the photooxidation of three methyl perfluoroalkyl ethers. Experimental methods and results are discussed in detail.
