Asians emerge as the new moneymakers

Article Abstract:

The UK is seeing the emergence of new ethnic groups, especially 'British blacks,' according to a study based on the first national census of the British ethnic population. These groups has developed a new identity, no longer feeling closely associated with their origins. The study also indicates that Asians, especially Indians, are likely to develop into one of the richest groups in the middle-class in the UK. In contrast, Afro-Caribbeans will become part of the working-classes in inner city areas.
