The article discusses a housing complex in Sweden that is wired for remote control of such things as heat, power, and security, and the site is ecologically sound as well. Features include sun and wind power; grass roofs, safer soil, big windows, and an 'intelligent wall.' The Tango complex is located in Malmo, Sweden.

The world's fastest bike; the speed record for human-powered vehicles takes a dramatic leap forward

Article Abstract:

The Dexter-Hysol Cheetah, a two-wheeled, human-powered vehicle has traveled at a speed of 68.73 miles per hour, breaking the old world record by over three mph. The Cheetah is basically a semi-recumbent bicycle covered with a aerodynamically-designed fairing. Design details are discussed.
