Ketone-catalyzed asymmetric epoxidation reactions
Article Abstract:
A general method is established for generating dioxiranes in situ under mild reaction conditions, which makes dioxiranes benchtop reagents for oxidation reactions. Efficient ketone catalysts for olefin epoxidation in high enantioselectivity and diasetreoselectivity are developed.
