Land Bank of the Philippines: assuring balanced development

The Land Bank of the Philippines has a policy of promoting rural development, especially in the areas of farming and fishing. The bank reported a net income of about 1.2 billion pesos in 1994, after making social-service contributions of about 800 million pesos.
