Legislating integrity

Article Abstract:

Slow-acting

Article Abstract:

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) proposed a continued sale of dichlorvos, or DDVP in May 2006, despite considerable evidence suggesting it to be carcinogenic and harmful to the brain and nervous system. In its decision in May on DDVP, the EPA added some restrictions to household use, revealing that the pest strips could be placed only in garages, cupboards, attics and crawl spaces.
