Article Abstract:

Studies on the development of ideas in the integration of technology into the business planning process are reviewed. The common themes that emerge from the review are then tested and developed for validity and for value. Testing for validity involves comparison with inputs gathered from delegates of a particular firm during an industrial workshop, while testing for value consists of the current development of technology review process with a collaborating firm. The experience and learning that have transpired from the test case are discussed.
