Making the rice disease-resistant

Article Abstract:

Genetic engineering has discovered that isolated disease-resistance genes can be introduced into rice plants to prevent common bacterial types of bacterial blight to affect rice plants. The gene is used to produce the world's first transgenetic disease-resistant rice plants.
