Modified anisotropic Gurson yield criterion for porous ductile sheet metals

Article Abstract:

A three-dimensional finite element analysis is utilized to investigate the influence of plastic anisotropy on the plastic behavior of porous ductile materials. The computational results of the macroscopic stress-strain behavior are in agreement with the modified anisotropic Gurson's yield criterion under uniaxial and equal biaxial tensile loading conditions.

Nonlinear kinematic hardening identification for anisotropic sheet metals with bending-unbending tests

Article Abstract:

The initial anisotropy theory of plasticity is extended to encapsulate the idea of combined isotropic and nonlinear kinematic hardening. The experimentation results demonstrated that bending-unbending tests are suitable to model the behavior of sheet-metals under complex loading paths quite accurately.

Application of the radial return method to compute stress increments from Mroz's hardening rule

Article Abstract:

Radial return method is applied in a simulation of a full sheet-metal forming process including springback to compute stress increments for a given strain increment from Mroz's hardening rule. The proposed method is effective in saving computing time.
