Molecular tweezers and clips as synthetic receptors. Molecular recognition and dynamics in receptor: substrate complexes
Article Abstract:
The binding of molecular tweezers and clips, which contain naphthalene and benzene spacer units, to electron-deficient aromatic and aliphatic substrate in solution are examined. The temperature dependent liquid- and solid-state NMR spectroscopy is used to illustrate the dynamics of complex formation and substrate mobility.

Rich structure chemistry in the aluminophosphate family
Article Abstract:
A family of aluminophosphates ranging from neutral open-frameworks to anionic frameworks with fascinating structural architectures is described. It is also observed that use of computational methods can assist in the rational synthesis of aluminophosphates with specified structures.

Molecular interactions in amphiphilic assemblies: Theoretical perspective
Article Abstract:
Molecular interactions in amphiphilic assembly are theoretically analyzed. The molecular theory shows that the mesoscopic chiral shape of the condensed phase can be predicted form the molecular chiral structure studying the intermolecular energy profile.
