Moroto morass; a fossil ape unexpectedly resembles modern apes and humans

Article Abstract:

Vertebral and scapular glenoid remains obtained from primitive apes which lived 20 million years ago in the Morotto region of East Africa were found to be identical with the body designs of modern apes and humans. The discovery can be used to link man's ancestry with lower primates.

Neanderthal notes

Article Abstract:

Paleontologist Ivan Turk revealed the possibility that primitive men are inclined to music after he unearthed a flute-like piece of bone suspected to be used by Neanderthals 43,000 years ago. The piece was found to be based from the musical scale used in modern times.
